With a live orchestra and gourmet hors d’oeuvres prepared by Reid Hospital’s own Café at Twelve Hundred, Red Dress Ball is a wonderful date night for a wonderful cause. Proceeds from the ball benefit heart-related efforts. In 2011 and 2012, Red Dress Ball helped support an initiative to distribute 225 Automated Electronic Defibrillators (AEDs) to area schools and non-profit organizations.
ReidRide continues to provide an opportunity to bike with friends, promote wellness and give children in need an opportunity to stay active. Through sponsorships and registrations, more than 2,000 pairs of shoes are provided each year for underprivilidged children in the community.
BRAvo! is a fun way to talk about a serious cause – breast cancer. This initiative runs from mid-summer through October and gets the entire community involved in raising funds to provide free mammograms for uninsured women and financial assistance for women in need. From decorated bras and a ladies’ night out to the Signature Event, BRAvo! has something for everyone!
